Description

Durose Manufacturing Ltd, A leader and progressive manufacturer of fabricated Steel products, is seeking a CNC Laser Operator for their facility in Guelph.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Read specifications and follow verbal instructions
Lay out, set up and Operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines
Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications
Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
Check for quality of parts
Label parts as per Nesting Software
And other duties as assignedRequired Experience & Qualifications:
Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years' experience with CNC Laser or Plasma Cutters
Must have excellent attention to detail skills
Work with mínimal supervision
Ability to read/interpret blueprints, and drawings.
Practise safe work procedures and follow all health & safety regulations

Day Shift:

Mon to Thurs (6:30am to 4:00pm, Fri (6:30am to 3:00pm) 44 hours per week

Salary
- $18.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience & comprehensive benefits package
