Interior Design Project Coordinator/procurement - Oakville, Canada - Hageman Homes & Interiors

Hageman Homes & Interiors is seeking to hire a a full-time Project Manager/Procurement Manager.


The responsibilities include the following:
Bringing projects seamlessly together from start to finish and supporting the Principal Designer in all phases of our projects

Communications with clients during the approval, ordering and execution phase

Managing project timelines, deadlines and budgets

Organize, request and manage samples, orders and approvals

Tracking all orders to ensure items are received, held, and ready for install

Capturing onsite measurements, photos, notes and all client communication

Execution of AutoCad input for furniture plans, lighting, millwork etc.

Organization of Excel files, powerpoint, Dropbox

Attending client presentations, meetings, calls and all installations

Quoting all items specified by the principal designer

Selection support for the interior designer

Meetings and collaboration with approved vendors to procure estimates, place orders, track orders and arrange deliveries.

Approvals of CFAs and managing all deliveries to the studio

Assisting Head of Construction with deliveries/shipments (ie. wood from the US etc if you're doing a build/reno)

Accounting assistance - keeping track of invoices/storing all invoices/receipts for projects


The requirements include the following:
Must be based in Canada

Must have experience in the design industry for 2 years minimum or a degree in Interior Design

Must be incredibly organized, love doing tasks, and be detail oriented

Proficient in Excel, Auto Cad and Microsoft Office
