    ABA / IBI Instructor Therapist Position-York Region:

    Job Types: Part-time, Independent Contractor.

    Side by Side Therapy is currently seeking skilled individuals for contract Instructor Therapist positions in York Region. Instructor Therapists will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities in the children's home, using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) teaching strategies guided by a Senior Therapist and BCBA.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Implementing client-specific ABA techniques and programming as instructed.
    • Providing direct service in the client's home or community setting.
    • Recording and graphing data.
    • Documenting progress through detailed notes.
    • Maintaining consistent communication with Senior Therapist and BCBA.

    Successful candidates should have:

    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with team members.
    • Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transportation.
    • College Diploma or University Degree in a related field.
    • Minimum 6 months of experience in ABA teaching strategies.
    • Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification or working towards it.

    Part-time position with potential for full-time caseload. Compensation based on experience and credentials.

    Instructor Therapist pay range:
    Without RBT designation: $25-30
    With RBT designation: $27-35
