Business Analyst, Canadian Business Banking (9 month Contract)

Purpose


The Business Analyst contributes to the success of the Canadian Business Bank through partnership support and collaboration and through championing a customer focused culture and keeping the bank safe.


This role supports internal and external projects that contribute to the success of the Canadian Business Bank through collaboration with partners and innovation.

This is a 9 month Contract position offering full time hours.

In this role you will be part of the broader bank team executing on the regulatory Benchmark Rate Reform project.


Accountabilities
A Business Analyst champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge by:

  • Working collaboratively with partners to gather and prioritize requirements.
  • Keeping the bank safe by working within the Bank's guidelines.
  • Contributing to an inclusive work environment.

Education / Experience / Other Information:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Business degree preferred
  • Previous experience working in a financial institution
  • Strong Working knowledge of MS Excel / Visio / Blueworks
  • Proven success in a Process driven role / work environment
  • Proven success and experience gathering Data & Interpreting information for reporting purposes
  • Ability to work nonstandard hours as required by business
  • Ability to work in a Hybrid work arrangement
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
