    In accordance with established vision, values and strategic directions of Northern Heath, patient and staff is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

    Reporting to the Supervisor, Relational Security Services, the Relational Security Services Officer maintains and enforces security of persons and property in accordance with established policies and procedures.

    There is an extended hour agreement pending, a vote will take place at a later date and a there will be a requirement to sign an OT wavier for extended shifts - Training may be considered provided there are not sufficient qualified applicants to fill the available positions.


    Prince Rupert Regional Hospital is a 24-bed facility that sees an average of 22,000 ER visits per year. It is a fully equipped facility with Medical Imaging, Laboratory, ICU, ER and Maternity.

    Qualfications


    • Current BC Security Guard License, OFA Level II Certification, Certification of Training Completion in Advanced Security Training.
    • One year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
