The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) Saskatchewan is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our awesome team CPHR Saskatchewan is the professional regulatory association for human resource practitioners and ensures the protection of public interest and confidence in the practice of its members.

The association is the granting body of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation within the Province of Saskatchewan.

CPHR Saskatchewan is governed by _The Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Act_, and by its' Board of Directors pursuant to its' Bylaws.


A key factor for the association's success is the effective member communication and promotion of the value of the HR profession and the CPHR designation to HR practitioners (both members and potential members), business leaders and the public, of which the Marketing Coordinator plays a significant role.

***Reporting to the Marketing & Events Manager, the role will be responsible for assisting in the execution of marketing and communication strategies and assisting with association events.


MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Social Media & Branding

  • Promotes CPHR Saskatchewan events, Association news, and partnerships, through effective and timely use of social media and other online platforms.
  • Promotes the CPHR Saskatchewan brand in a positive and professional manner through online platforms.
  • Managing social media platforms, which includes creating and scheduling engaging social media content, and monitoring media coverage.
  • Creating and developing visual elements, including videos and static imagery, that support digital and online, social media, and traditional media advertising initiatives.
  • Engages Association supporters through online channels; responds to public inquiries, sparks discussion, and requests calltoactions in support of events and initiatives.
  • Actively monitors and tracks online chatter, positive and negative, related to the Association and informs the Marketing & Events Manager of potential reputational risk.
  • Provides campaignspecific social media reports.
  • Draft clear, concise and engaging content for scheduled weekly newsletter and eblasts for the association and partner organizations.
  • Assist with the biannual magazine, special member communications, website updates, promotional and marketing materials, annual report, and yearend reports.

Writing and Editing

  • Recommend enhancements to communication and marketing strategies to maximize message impact and process efficiencies.
  • Search out and highlight CPHR Saskatchewan and its achievements, activities and needs to all stakeholders, through features promoting human interest/research features and the importance of HR in business.
  • Align communications materials with the mission, vision, values and the brand messaging framework.
  • Meet timelines and ensure accuracy for communications materials.

Event Planning

  • Assist in planning and executing of all CPHR Saskatchewan events (both inperson and virtual) including the Annual CPHR Saskatchewan Conference, HR Forum, Professional Development events, and membership meetings to provide support and to connect with members, sponsors, and partners.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics, venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, etc.
  • Foster positive relationships with members during events, create experiences that resonate with our diverse member base, and interact with members to understand their preferences, needs, and expectations.
  • Monitor event registrations and track attendance.
  • Post-Event Evaluation
- gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders, analyze event success metrics and identify areas for improvement, prepare post-event reports and recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines
  • Attend and represent CPHR Saskatchewan at Career Fairs and postsecondary student events.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Postsecondary education in Marketing and/or Communications and 35 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience organizing, and executing, communications, marketing, and promotional projects and initiatives for corporate, education or professional associations.
  • Demonstrated experience writing/editing marketing materials, proposals, presentations and communications.
  • Previous experience in graphic design would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics and SEO would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in event planning and coordination would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in the use of social media tools, analytics, content planning, and digital marketing techniques.
  • Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media platforms, media monitoring software, and design and editing tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven research, project and content management, and problemsolving skills
  • Well organized with a demonstrated abilit
