Rio Tinto is looking to implement a new Tier 1 Human Capital Management solution that will impact every employee globally.

As such we are looking for
3Digital [Functional Configuration] Subject Matter Experts for Recruitment, Onboarding and Contract Automation
who will report to the Workday & ServiceNow Product Owner.**These roles will be responsible for collaborating with global process team members to understand business needs, working side-by-side with our System Integrator (SI).

i.e., implementation partner to translate these requirements into high-quality solutions within Recruitment and Onboarding.

These roles will be key to bringing our global Workday implementation to life as we implement across APAC, EMEA and the Americas.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Partners with the Global Process workstream to develop and translate the functional business needs into high quality system solutions, including defining the expected value realisation for the organisation
  • Owns the successful delivery of the configuration workbooks for Recruitment, Onboarding and Contract Automation
  • Owns the successful delivery of the user stories for Recruitment, Onboarding and Contract Automation, which articulates requirements from the perspective of an end user and how the work item delivers value to the customer
  • Leads and guides the Regional workstream to identify local requirements, identifying gaps and translate requirements in the configuration workbooks
  • Partners with Technical Workstreams to cleanse data, reconcile data, resolve defects, and actively participate in integration, reporting and security scoping and discovery sessions
  • Partners with the Global Process workstream during design sessions, ensuring design and configuration alignment with required business outcomes, Objective Key Results, design principles and industry best practice
  • Leads functional specific sections of the Prototype Review Playbacks and Testing Workshops, in partnership with the SI to support business ownership of the solution
  • Partners with Global Process and Testing Workstream to develop test scenarios, including active participation and support with functional testing and defect resolution

  • Highly preferable that you have a number of years' experience in functional configuration with multiple endtoend Workday HCM implementations (required) in respective functional area, including business processes, security, integrations, reports and dashboards (Tier 1 HCM Workday certifications highly preferable)
