Job Summary:
To effectively manage sales and operations planning for assigned product and account groups. This junior entry level position is a great opportunity for recent graduates.


Primary Duties:


  • Ensure inventory requirements for specific product groups are met.
  • Routine review of planning reports and open reports and execute replenishment to fill account requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including sales, program managers, customer service, purchasing and production to ensure inventory targets are met.
  • Proactively analyze account ordering trends and create inventory plans to support requirements.
  • Create, propose, and maintain contractual inventory minimum and maximum for specific account groups.
  • Coordinate monthly portfolio review with Program Managers to review product availability and demand/supply changes.
  • Create and distribute PO approval requests for specific account groups.
  • Reduce exposure to excess and obsolete inventory by observing strict planning guidelines.
  • Support item setup, BOMs and related cost sheets in ERP systems per new setup requests.
  • Support BPO creation, entry, and issue all BPOs per planning and ERP requirements for stock and fulfill existing orders.
  • Proactively alert production and purchasing team on possible demand and inventory issues.
  • Highlight potential planning roadblocks and engage cross functional teams for possible solutions.
  • Seek and share best practices with others in the company.
  • Build and develop relationships with peers and others to exchange feedback on product/service issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs, and achieve business results.
  • Coordinate with coworkers to solve internal and external customer problems.
  • Promote setting measurable goals of improvement. Lead by example and motivate others in achieving stretched goals.
  • Internalize and promote the goals of the company and lead by example.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree, Business, Finance or Manufacturing Planning.
  • Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge about ERP systems is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, processes, distribution, and supply chain management.
  • Understanding of technical aspects of warehouse operations
  • Strong coordination, organizational and time management skills
  • Extremely strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data.
  • Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
  • Detail oriented, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
