    MD Financial Management, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Client Reporting Specialist to join our team.

    Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Execute Canadian and/or IRS tax production activities accurately and within regulatory deadlines
  • Identify, document, and support resolution of system defects and process gaps
  • Collaborate with internal and external composition and printing partners as it related to tax activities
  • Develop and maintain related procedure and work instruction documents, and regularly review and update as required
  • Establish processes and procedures that facilitate continuous process improvement on all tax production processes, and ensure operational efficiency of the production processes
  • Support project initiatives and audits as it relates to tax
  • Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We'd love to work with you if you have:

    Experience in tax reporting in a financial services environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • College or University degree related to Commerce is an asset
  • Tax related courses, certifications, or completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset
  • Working knowledge of SPM/Confluence software is an asset
  • Critical thinking skills and are enthusiastic about delivering quality service
  • Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
