- Troubleshoot plant issues and recommend operational improvements.
- Prioritize safety, environmental compliance, and production efficiency.
- Review, revise and write Operations Procedures.
- Report deficiencies, maintain accurate logbooks and support MOC and work orders processes.
- Notify leader of emergency/upset situations impacting the facility.
- Lead or support during emergencies, maintenance, and ERP drills.
- Participate in safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
- Hands-on with Once Through Steam Generator's (OTSGs), water/oil treating, and de-oiling processes.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proactive, analytical, and confident in problem-solving and decision-making.

Note:
This position requires the successful candidate to reside in the North Battleford area or willingness to relocate upon hire and hold a valid Class 5 driver's license with driver's abstract.
Reporting to the Shift Engineer, the Plant Operator is expected to have comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, plant equipment, and plant operations in all areas.
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with, and commitment to Strathcona's Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory (HSER) policies, as well as TSASK and OH&S standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum Third-Class Power Engineering (TSASK) Certification. Progress toward a Second-Class is considered an asset.* 5+ years of related industry experience in Oil and Gas (SAGD or CSS).
