We are currently looking for a
Warehouse Cleaner who has pride in ownership and an upbeat attitude to join our great Warehouse team.

Past Warehouse cleaning experience is an
asset. The hours for this position are from 5:45am to 2:15pm.


WAREHOUSE CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Keep the building in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties.
  • Wash walls and glass.
  • Clean snow or debris from sidewalk.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing.
  • Use electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training).
  • Perform Forklift Battery inspections, clean batteries and ensure proper water levels.
  • Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms.
  • Empty waste bins or similar receptacles transport waste material to designated collection points.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

WAREHOUSE CLEANER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Proven working experience as a cleaner
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use scrubbers, sweepers etc.
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Knowledge of forklift batteries (past cleaning and inspection experience considered an asset or ability to learn process)
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets and WHMIS
  • Integrity
  • Pride of ownership in role; attention to detail
  • High school diploma

MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENCE AND ACCESS TO A RELIABLE VEHICLE as the location is not easy to get to via public transit in the early hours.
