Actuarial Manager:

Year Fixed Term Contract Salary £60,000

Are you someone who has some Solvency II experience? Would you like to understand how stresses are put together for SCR calculations? We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join the Production team on a fixed-term basis to lead the production and delivery of various reporting metrics for the funds at Aviva.

**This is a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract role (FTC).

A bit about the job:

A core part of the role will be to take ownership of the production of stress results for the with-profit funds covering Solvency II Internal Model, ICA and Standard Formula.

The team is responsible for setting up manuals, putting together modelled results and crafting results for various collaborators at Aviva.

You will get opportunity to undertake a variety of other assignments across the team including producing balance sheets, P&Ls and reviewing QRTs.

Dealing mainly with actuarial colleagues, this role requires good organisational and analytical skills to ensure that deliveries are met to the required quality and in timely manner.

You will lead a small team and work with an offshore team to produce the results.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

Degree level or equivalent
Some understanding of Solvency II
Experience of working on withprofit funds is desired but not compulsory
Ability to plan work, manage individuals and work with multiple collaborators
Ability to present and explain technical information would be useful
