Apprentice Refrigeration Apprentice
Island Energy Inc. has been providing heating, cooling and ventilation here in Victoria for over 35 years.
Whether it is new heat pumps, furnaces, or hot water systems for the home or business, or repairing the existing system, we are here to help every step of the way.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to see all aspects of HVAC, and broaden their knowledge base by working with some very experienced trades people.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist journeyman technicians with replacement, and new installations, as well as our service department.
- Assist in properly installing jobs and adhering to quality and safety checklists.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and wellinventoried company vehicle.
- Ability to work alone for advanced apprentices.
- Participate actively in available training to master your trade.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2year experience as a HVAC apprentice
- Technically Inclined
- Experience in HVAC service and installation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service
- Attention to detail
- Be physically fit for labour intensive work.
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean, safe record
