Third-Year Apprentice Scaffolder

  • 12 hour shift with lots of Overtime
  • Multiple projects across Western Canada
  • Travel, Accommodations and LOA Provided
  • On the job training and mentorship provided
  • Projects starting in April 2023

Job Summary:


As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Third-Year Apprentice Scaffolder to join our team.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with experienced scaffolders to assemble, disassemble, and maintain scaffolding structures according to safety standards and company guidelines.
  • Follow detailed blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions to accurately construct scaffolding systems.
  • Inspect scaffolding components and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist in loading and unloading scaffolding materials and equipment on job sites.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Attend and actively participate in all required safety meetings, training sessions, and workshops.

Requirements:

H2S Alive, Confined Space, First Aid, Fall arrest, CSO, CSTS,:

  • Registered as a Third-Year Apprentice Scaffolder.
  • Previous experience working in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries is an asset.
  • Familiarity with various scaffolding systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
