- Prospect new clients that have been determined to be national size prospects
- Sell an array of products and services offered by Moneris to meet the requirements of net new merchants
- Create proposals and presentations targeted at solving the needs of prospects.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms and conditions to ensure that pricing and terms reflect the achievement of corporate goals
- Utilizing a consultative sales approach, consult with clients, ensuring achievement of individual financial goals driven from organizational targets.
- Stay current and educating clients on industry trends, competition, competitive issues and products, and the card services industry.
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of strategic sales or business development, with a track record of sales results.
- Demonstrated experience developing client relationships and presenting to C-suite executives.
- Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
- Industry knowledge to understand payments market and different business and pricing models considered an asset

Additional Job Description
You will be accountable for Moneris' national account revenue, including selling payment processing, value-added services and solutions offered by Moneris, growth, and profitability on national account clients. This includes signing contracts for merchant services, developing a pipeline of prospects and leads and responding to RFP's as assigned.
Location: You will be based in our Burnaby office and will work in a hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Business Development
Salary Range: $68L to $97K
