Position Summary

The Major Account Executive - Commercial Print will provide professional and ethical representation of Konica Minolta Business Solutions to prospective and existing customers.

You will be assigned a list of accounts for the purpose of developing long term relationships and attaining your quarterly sales targets.

What You'll Do Here

  • Prospect new customers and partner with existing ones by offering a variety of solutions to improve their business; you will have to make it a priority to take exceptional care of your clients.
  • Cold call and inperson prospecting for potential and established clients; you must be tenacious and have a desire to grow your knowledge as you build your career.
  • Outbound calls to potential and established clients on a daily basis to set facetoface appointments, ensuring outstanding customer service though regular followups; you'll be expected to report regularly to a branch office.
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, including executive contacts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
  • Learn and demonstrate the benefits of all KMBS products, services and solutions for clients.
  • Design and present solutions that will help customers' businesses.
  • Consistently close sales and achieve monthly activity and revenue goals.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

  • Must have at least years of success in business-to-business sales selling to clients in the commercial print industry OR in the digital imaging solutions or other technology industry. High Volume and Production Print experience strongly preferred.
  • College degree would be an asset
  • Prior experience within the Commercial Print industry is required; understand and know how this industry works; you have established relationships in this field.
  • Strong negotiation skills to confidently and aggressively seek new business
  • Knowledge of Graphic design solutions including end design, CS suite, Quark and Variable Data Printing is an asset
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills to confidently and aggressively seek new business
  • The desire to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction
  • A valid driver's license and own a vehicle is required
  • Significant percentage of time spent directly with customer interfaces with all levels
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment with a high degree of independence
