Description

Under the supervision of the Manager of Facility Operations, the incumbent will be responsible for the coordination of all required maintenance work.

They will work with multiple stakeholders to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective maintenance and reliability operations. The incumbent will collaborate with maintenance personnel and work with available resources ensuring work is completed.

They must have the ability to manage various stakeholders/clients, prioritize work, and coordinate the maintenance schedule for all three campuses while adhering to the College and Department's standard operating procedures and policies.

What You'll Be Doing

Overseeing the scheduled preventative maintenance plans;
Receiving and prioritizing work requests from the various stakeholders and maintenance teams;
Assisting in developing preventive maintenance routines and schedules in the Computerized Maintenance Management System;
Collaborating and working with the Customer Service Clerk in managing the CMMS service requests process from start to finish;
Identifying opportunities and making recommendations for continuous improvement of Maintenance & Reliability Operations practices;
Working with each campus Manager of Facilities & Operations for long-term maintenance planning requirements and assist with special projects as assigned;
Creating, maintaining, and updating record keeping and documentation pertaining to the activities of the Reliability & Operations (i.e., maintenance schedules, OEM manuals, inspection reports, forms, etc.);
Gathering, analyzing and assessing data as required by the Manager and/or Leadership team (e.g., project status, work orders status, etc.);
Collaborating with the FSI Business Services team to ensure all vendors are up to date including contact information, current liability and WSIB documentation, and product information;
Submitting quotes and invoices to the FSI Business Services team for processing;
Assisting the Managers of Facilities and Operations with procurement activities for each campus;
Acting as a liaison between departments, campuses and external contacts on FM issues and proactively resolving problems/ addressing issues;
Performing other related duties as assigned.

2-year technical diploma or trade certificate (i.e., electrical, mechanical, engineering, facilities management, maintenance planning, etc.).


2 years experience in facilities or systems maintenance management in an industrial, commercial property or academic environment, preferably in a planning role.
