Summary:

As a Domestic Cleaner with Bloomsdale, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients in and around the GTA or Durham Region. We are searching for a diligent cleaner with a positive attitude, great stamina and dedication to provide desired results and respect for the home and its inhabitants.

Responsibilities of these positions may include but are not limited to:

Dusting, mopping, sweeping and washing; floors, toilets, showers, tubs, driveways, windows, and counters

Vacuuming carpets, upholstery, and any other dusty surfaces
:

Making Beds and fluffing pillows
:

-
Sanitizing all relevant surfaces
:

-
Cleaning all surfaces in living rooms, kitchen, and bathroom
:

Carefully handling furniture and appliances
:

-
Carefully using cleaning chemicals for specific areas
:

-
Adhere to the safe work/risk management policies and procedures of Bloomsdale Health Services
:

Work within the Ethical Practice Framework of Bloomsdale Health Services
:

Clean, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment before and after use.

Domestic Cleaner Requirements:

High School Diploma or similar:

-
A valid driver's license and vehicle is a plus

Fully Vaccinated (COVID-19)
:

Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and cleaning chemicals

Availability to work days OR evenings including weekends
:

Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
:

Able to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent organizational skills

This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty (25) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.

COVID-19 considerations:
All workers must abide by COVID-19 safety regulations. Proof of full vaccination (2 doses) required.
