The Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering invites applications for two 12-month Limited Term Appointment (LTA) contracts at the rank of Lecturer in the area of Mechanical Engineering.

Both positions are focused primarily on fundamental undergraduate courses in mechanical engineering, including mechanical and machine drawing, theory of machines, design, and similar topics.

Limited-term Faculty members at Concordia are full-time faculty members whose primary duties include teaching and service, with no research obligations.

Qualifications and assetsCandidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.
D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline. Membership in a Canadian professional engineering association, preferably in Quebec, is required. Industrial experience will be a definite asset. The candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
