Providing support for more than 1,200 Firehouse Subs restaurants in 46 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada - we are currently seeking a General Manager to join our team.

The General Manager is responsible for leading a team of Crew Members in all aspects of restaurant operations. They are a hospitality professional that leads with a Guest services mentality.

The incumbent in this position will lead our Assistant Managers, Shift Managers, and Crew Members on the front lines of our operations, adhering to and enforcing our standards, and ensuring that our Guests are presented with a great experience.

The General Manager is a brand representative that maintains a patient and positive attitude while championing the Mission of the organization

Some of the duties will include:

  • Inventory Management
  • To maintain daily prep routines (including par levels)
  • To put away and organize Food and Beverage orders
  • To work various shifts, including closing the restaurant up to 2 nights a week, and as needed to cover for assistantmanager holidays and shift leaders
  • Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the restaurant
  • Prepare schedules and ensure restaurant is properly staffed
  • Responsible for controllable costs: Food and Labour
  • Measure and evaluate performance standards (KPI's)
  • Develop and implement plans for continuous service improvement.
  • Ensure operational and occupational health and safety standards are followed.
  • To maintain cleaning routines
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 year restaurant general management experience, although 12 years supervisor role in a QSR type of environment would be an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong analytical/decisionmaking skills.
  • Leadership skills able to direct, coach, and supervise a team
  • Customer service skills able to exceed guest expectations.
  • A positive and teamoriented attitude.
  • Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
  • You must be able to _
    perform efficiently during high volume peak periods._
  • Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Please be advised that this is an hourly position that requires 47.5 hours worked (44 regular hours + 3.5 OT)

This job requires someone who has a valid Drivers License and regular access to a vehicle

Salary:
From $22.00 per hour
