About Us:
Our team makes up the largest Speech Therapy network in Ontario For more than 15 years, the Speech Associates has been proudly providing in-home and virtual Speech and ABA therapy to clients of all ages and care needs across the province.
Our Therapists work via virtual, hybrid, and in-person traveling options, while our Administrative Staff proudly support and facilitate the provision of care.
Role Summary:
As the Communications Lead, you will be responsible for clinician onboarding, brand awareness and social media presence. You will play an integral role in our team, collaborating with the service coordinators to ensure seamless operations. The Communications lead will support families and clinicians as they navigate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elevate our employee onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a seamless integration of new hires into our culture and values.
- Support the development and implementation of social media strategy, with specific goals to grow followers, engagement and brand mentions across Facebook and Instagram
- Maintain social media calendar and update online platforms: post, monitor social media activity, reply/comment as needed and routinely update the company's website
- Develop and oversee advanced training and professional development programs to meet the needs of our contractors and the organization.
- Drive the recruitment and retention strategies, including employer branding initiatives, to attract and keep top talent.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, providing expert guidance and conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a communications role
- University degree or college diploma in communications, media relations, journalism, public relations or a related program
- Knowledge of Speech and ABA Therapy an asset
- Proven ability to clearly define objectives and priorities, establish milestones, anticipate and mitigate risks and exceed goals in a dynamic environment, while maintaining strong attention to detail and quick recall.
Pay:
$27.50-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
