Swimming Pool and Hot Tub Maintenance TechnicianJob Summary:
On site care and maintenance of client's pools and spas.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up daily client sheets from main store and meet with supervisor if you have questions.
- Drive to client's homes.
- Do visual assessment of how water and equipment look.
- Clean and maintain clients solar covers, scum lines and pool deck surfaces.
- Fill and drain pools and spas as required and advised by supervisor.
- Vacuum pools and hot tubs.
- Clean and maintain client's circulation and filtration systems.
- On site testing of pool and spa chemistry.
- Take water samples back to main laboratory for analysis.
- Add chemicals to pools and spas as determined by water lab and advised by supervisor.
- Make observations of potential pool and hot tub problems and communicate them to supervisor.
- Make positive client contacts.
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise.
- Provide advice as it comes to pool and spa products and services.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction with all advice and products.
- Prepare merchandise for purchase.
- Mark out of stock items at clients home and communicate to supervisor.
- Deliver required chemicals to client's homes.
- Return to main store at the end of shift (usually 4—7 clients per day).
- Give completed daily client sheets to supervisor and brief them of any issues.
- Miscellaneous other responsibilities.

Hours required:
A variety of hours will be scheduled up to 40 hours per week.
Hours vary between:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sundays and Holidays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Occasionally overtime hours will be available and are not mandatory. If you'd like to request overtime hours (when available), please discuss this with your supervisor.

$17.00 per hour
