    Zgemi Inc. is a construction management and full-service general contractor. We provide design, development, renovation, restoration, and remodeling for hospitality, residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. Through a close working relationship with contractors, designers, architects, and engineers, we offer innovative solutions for projects.     Job Purpose

    The Brand & Marketing Co‑op is designed to provide hands‑on experience for a student pursuing a career in marketing, communications, or digital media.

    As a Brand & Marketing Intern at Zgemi, you will support the marketing and design team with campaign planning, brand development, content creation, and social media management. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing and design who wants to gain real‑world experience in a professional, creative environment.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media and digital platforms
    • Create engaging content such as graphics, videos, and written posts to support company branding
    • Support brand and design initiatives including presentations, brochures, and visual assets
    • Research industry trends, competitors, and innovative marketing approaches
    • Track and summarize marketing analytics and engagement metrics
    • Assist in maintaining Zgemi's website and social media channels with current and relevant content
    • Contribute ideas and creative input during team brainstorming sessions
    • Provide administrative support related to marketing materials, reports, and project documentation

    Working Conditions

    • This is an unpaid, in‑person co‑op placement intended for students seeking academic credit or professional experience in marketing
    • The position is based on‑site at Zgemi's head office in Brampton, Ontario
    • The internship duration is typically 3–4 months, depending on academic requirements and availability
    • The intern will work in a creative, fast‑paced office environment, collaborating with the Marketing and Design teams
    • Regular use of computers, design software, and digital tools
    • Interns are expected to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude at all times

    Qualifications & Skills Required

    • Enrolled in a post‑secondary program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
    • Strong interest in branding, marketing, and creative content development
    • Familiarity with design and editing tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or Figma)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
    • A creative mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
    • Team‑oriented with a positive, proactive approach
    • Portfolio required demonstrating relevant marketing, branding, or design work
