Duties and responsibilities
The primarily responsibilities of the associate are as follows:

  • Manager the recruitment and selection processes.
  • Administer employee benefits and payroll.
  • Develop and implement HR policies.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Plan and execute onboarding programs.
  • Implement performance appraisal processes.
  • Identify training needs and organize programs.
  • Maintain employee records and databases.
  • Promote workplace safety and compliance.
  • Identify and nurture highpotential employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Manage employee separations and conduct exit interviews.
  • Must abide by all company policies and procedures.

Requirements and skills

  • A degree/certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration.
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation or the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation an asset.

years of relevant HR experience in various HR functions like recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR strategy.


  • Good understanding of Canadian Labour laws, employment standards, and regulations.
  • Experience leading and managing a team of HR professionals.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and working with various stakeholders.
  • Familiar with HR strategic planning, decisionmaking, alignment of HR practices with business goals.

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
