Summary
(Please note, this job posting is for our Calgary Location)

We are hiring individuals who are looking for or have experience in aerial and underground fiber optic cable placement. Individuals who excel in this role may get exposure and/or training on HD Drilling equipment.

Essential Functions

General labor to support the installation, repair and replacement of both aerial and underground telecommunications lines
Follow company safety standards, policies and procedures at all times
Aspire to work in a team environment with increased responsibly being expected

Qualifications

MUST provide a driver's abstract and confirm a minimum 3 years continuous current insurance with no claims or convictions on record
Must be ok with the possibility of working out of town with extended possible overnight stays.
Grade 12 or GED

Skills and Abilities

Must be comfortable with heights and working outdoors in all weather conditions year round
Hand tool experience (IE Drills, saws, jackhammers, ECT) an asset
6 months experience operating trucks and trailers preferred
Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
Entry level position but depending on related experience wage is negotiable
