The position will commence on May 15th and is permanent full-time (part-time options available). The position guarantees 30+ hours per week, but overtime is expected almost every week. The position is strictly flexible in nature, meaning the employee will be expected to be available Monday-Sunday, between 6am-midnight. Morning and evening shifts will be assigned each week. Employees can expect at least one day off per week, but usually two. The off days will not necessarily be consecutive, and will certainly not be Saturday/Sunday every week.

In general, the employee can expect the winter months to be a lighter workload, and we ask that vacation time to be taken during this period.

Our selected employees will receive a weekly schedule and generally speaking there will be a consistent weekly schedule for certain positions.

This position will balance managerial duties with driving and general labour.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, driving large cube trucks (up to 20ft), driving pick up trucks/SUVs that tow trailers (up to 16ft), truck inspections, providing cost estimates to customers for moves or removals, billing customers, record keeping/data collection, sorting inventory, recycling/donating and selling inventory, schedule management, communication with customers/dispatcher, continuous lifting/maneuvering of items such as furniture and appliances and occasional shoveling.

While labour may be requested of the field manager, we intend this position to fulfill a supervisory role, with specific general labour positions to be filled elsewhere.

Anyone who fills this position will be expected to uphold stringent and rigorous company regulations, expectations and values, all of which will be laid out in detail prior to hiring.

Any managerial experience in the moving or junk removal industry, as well as any experience driving trucks, will be considered an asset and will be weighted heavily in the selection process.
