- Install, administer, maintain, and monitor various Apple products including Mac workstation, laptops and iPads
- Install and test upgrades to related to Apple applications, programs and hardware including patches, hot fixes and releases in a UAT/Test environment
- Handle a variety of Tier 2-3 trouble tickets
- Provide mentoring and elevated support (Tier 3) to Tier 1 and 2 Technicians, Regional Technicians and a variety of end user departments specifically in support of these GN production applications and programs
- Provide communities with phone or remote support using administration tools provided by the GN. There may also be travel to communities outside of Iqaluit.
- Create technical documentation, along with editing and testing of vendor provided documentation
- Provide expertise on identified IPS projects relating to the GN IT infrastructure.
- Proven experience in the integration of MAC productions into a Microsoft networked environment.
- Degree in Computer Science or IT related diploma/degree
- 3-5+ years of experience in the below mentioned responsibilities
- Related Industry Certifications, for example, Apple, Microsoft, ITIL, Network +, Novell, HP and Dell
- Proven ability to deploy, administer and manage various Apple/Mac devices including Mac workstations, Laptops and iPads.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Excellent writing and documentation skills
- High level of organizational skills
