Description

We are recruiting for a very reputable client, hiring for Machine Operators located in Brampton.

Must have at least 2 years of experience working in a similar role.

Operators will be responsible:

  • Read dockets, sample board and schedule lists
  • Load rolls onto bag machines using a hoist
  • Set up machine for production and make minor adjustments
  • Install machine attachments according to job specifications
  • Communicate with Packer/Operators and Supervisor regarding status of jobs
  • Assist Packer/Operators with unloading and loading of skids as required
Shifts are 8hr rotationals (morning, afternoon and night), with the shift rotating every 2 weeks.


Required Skills:


  • Ability to organize and prioritize effectively.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.

Salary:
$20.50-$21.84 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • English not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evenings
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
