Description

Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Product Specialist - Commercial construction to join our team. This position is based at our Ottawa, ON facility.

What you'll do:


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Assist our quotation department with project / RFQ single line and specification review.
  • Assist our quotation department with assembling quote packages and RFQ file management.
  • Supply our outside sales team with quotation support such as fielding product inquiries, order entry and order expedite.
  • Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Values and Philosophy, as well as the Safety and Environmental Standards.

Required Qualifications:


  • Completed or in progress of an Electrical Engineering Technician/ Technology Diploma or Degree Program or related field of study.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • Must adhere to all Eaton safety policy and work well within a high safety culture.
  • Must be able to wear PPE (i.e. steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves if required).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 13 years of relevant industry experience
  • Previous estimating/ quotation or customer service experience is an asset.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills:


  • Strong problemsolving skills and time management capabilities.
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
