A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Caledonian Landscape Gardening for an Experienced Landscape Gardener.

We are looking to grow our team as our quality services are in high demand, we take pride in providing our clients with the highest quality of work and provide an excellent customer service.

In the position of Landscape Labourer, you will be undertaking all aspects of Landscape Gardening including but not limited to:

Planting and maintaining garden beds
Soil Amendments and Mulching
Pruning & Shearing of shrubs & cultivate garden beds
Laying of Patios, walkways & paths
Creation of water features & ponds
Pond maintenance
Sod Work
Weed control
Yard Clean ups

Efficiently complete landscape tasks according to plan with a focus on quality
Work safely and in a responsible manner
Comply with current health & safety regulations
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in truck, trailers, equipment, job sites and shop areas
Identify efficiencies/improvements while performing allocated tasks

Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods & carry out strenuous physical tasks
Valid drivers license is preferred, you must be able to meet at given locations around HRM

You can or are willing to:

Work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment and materials
Lift a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly through an entire work shift
Have excellent stamina
Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, cold and in dusty and noisy environments

Working hours can be varied and may include occasional weekend work

In the role of Landscape Labourer, you will be proficient in providing quality landscape services working with an expert with 30 years' experience in the industry.

There will be continuous learning opportunities and you will develop an excellent working relationship with our clients. You will be a passionate landscape gardener with opportunities to developyour creative side.

From $20.00 per hour
