Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare prescription orders by counting, pouring, and labeling medications
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
  • Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Perform clerical duties including completing all records, documentation and patient or third party billings/charges, preparing receipts, invoices, letters, memos, and general filing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies

  • Identify and report sales opportunities both internally and externally
  • Provide friendly, positive and proactive interaction with all internal and external customers whenever necessary
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient's needs and doctor's requests/issues under the supervision of the pharmacist's on duty
  • Ensure pharmacy complies with all legal requirements (Federal & Provincial) and Company's policies and procedures
  • Ensure all ethical and pharmaceutical care models are practiced

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Speak Cantonese/Mandarin
  • Experience in retail pharmacy is an asset
