Job Summary:
The Marketing and Communication Coordinator's purpose is to in coordination with the Executive Director, handles the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of all activities related to the execution of marketing programs, campaigns, and creation of assets for accurate and timely execution of social media initiatives by curating content, providing reporting for our social media marketing campaigns, and working to successfully increase engagement and audiences across all social channels for our clients.

We need an intellectually curious marketing professional who embodies and understands us (our brand) and the digital space we're in.
Not only are you creative and relational but you're also an analytical person who is comfortable working with data and leveraging insights to drive strategic decisions.
You're passionate about social media, you grasp the overall digital marketing landscape and you can understand how these fit into our larger vision.
Key Accountabilities
- Using best practices in NotforProfit Marketing, develop and deliver resultsdriven activities within an assigned robust portfolio of individuals and workplaces to meet and exceed goals, key performance indicators and other measures.
- Prepares Annual Strategies and Marketing Plan in coordination with the Executive Director, Fund Development Coordinator, Fund Development Committee, and Board of Directors Support.
- Responsible for the daytoday delivery of core marketing support
- Assist with executing the marketing strategy and programs to drive awareness
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to create content and assets ensuring that brand guidelines and key messages are conveyed in all materials
- Managing HUI's social media accounts and publishing content according to the content calendar
- Maintain and update HUI's website as needed
- Promote an experiencedriven approach and use SEO best practices to encourage visitors to engage with the brand across online platforms
- Compile and analyze key metrics of marketing components to assess the impact of HUI's marketing strategy and programs on an ongoing basis
- Assist the program coordinators and staff with any requirements and other duties as required

Required/Desired Skills and Experience:
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, creativity and flexibility
- Comfort asking individuals, workplaces and prospective partners for donations
- Understanding of Inclusion, and Diversity
- Demonstrated ability to network, establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Selfdirected with the ability to work autonomously
- Experience in working with volunteers and knowledge of communitybased, nonprofit organizations
- Skilled in ensuring community relationships are developed, enhanced, and nurtured
- Proven ability to meet set goals and deadlines
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and problemsolving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of/personal experience with mental illness/mental health/disabilities or life and barrier challenges would be an asset
- Previous event planning experience is considered an asset
