About the Role:

Fitzrovia is seeking an experienced part-time
Barista / Bartender for 10 DEAN.

The Barista/Bartender will be responsible for providing luxury service to guests, while taking great care of our equipment and café space.

Responsibilities:

Daily setup and breakdown of the coffee station
Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, cocktails, wine, beer, snacks and other menu items
Ensure café menu items are prepped as required, coffee is brewed consistently throughout the shift, ensuring proper temperature of all products
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, and be able to provide recommendations
Assist guests with food and beverage orders in a friendly and timely manner
Ensure the café space is kept clean and presentable throughout the course of the shift
Manage cash handling and payments, ensuring accuracy and proper closeout
Participate in teamwork and foster harmonious working climate
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
Ensure proper hygiene / handwashing throughout the shift
Ensure excellent customer service for guests at all times

Qualifications:

12 years of previous related experience, confidence with espresso machine and a variety of beverages
Experience working in a bar is considered an asset
Food Handler and Smart Serve Certificate is required
Energetic and accountable, with a customerservice orientation
Ability to proactively maintain cleanliness and organization
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment with a positive attitude
Experience with cash handling and / or restaurant POS system a plus
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
