Mental Health & Addictions Counsellor (Workplace Support Programs)Vancouver, BC
Permanent Full time - Hybrid
Workplace Support Programs (WSP):
A group of programs designed to address mental health concerns in the workplace.
TELUS Health's Workplace Support Program offers the industry's earliest intervention into employee mental health issues that require a solution beyond short-term EAP support or as part of a disability case management treatment plan.
The programs provide professional assessment and counselling to support an individual's return to healthy productivity.These clinical interventions address issues requiring longer-term, more specialized or more intensive levels of care in order to prevent or manage workplace performance problems, absence and disability.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Minimum three (3) years of postmasters clinical experience
- Professional registration
- Knowledge of clinical assessment tools with experience conducting substance abuse assessments & mental health assessments
- Ability to assess all types of psychosocial disorders and develop treatment plans
- Strong report writing skills
- Experience supporting mandated clients
- Experience working in an inpatient/outpatient substance abuse treatment facility considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of community resources and case management skills

Midpoint Base Salary:
$75,000
Where permitted by law, company employees must be fully immunized to access a TELUS Health office or customer premises.
