We are seeking a
Finance Manager in
the Greater Toronto Area, who provide service delivery of finance requirements by providing analytical and general accounting execution.

To provide the key insights and reports to the Managing Partners on all defined financial business indicators developing and executing our eCommerce growth strategy.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting:


  • Monthly Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation, including the GL/Client P&L reconciliation
  • Assist in the Preparation of Year End tax filings and financial statement preparation
  • Preparation and analysis of consolidated Financial Statements and related management reports
  • Treasury Management, preparation of periodic covenants calculations & annual bank reports for RBC
  • All Provincial & Federal Taxes and related legislative filings
  • Fixed assets additions, schedule and Reconciliation
  • Capital Expenditure Budget and monthly forecasting preparation
  • Accuracy of Income Statements accounts and adjustments posting
  • Tracking, preparation and posting of Adjustments and accruals to Clients and GL
  • Weekly Cash Forecasting identify and drive initiatives to improve corporate cash flow performance
  • Preparation of annual Projection Proforma Statements

Finance Administration:

  • Review and optimize A/P & A/R processes to achieve desired team goals
  • Execute A/P and A/R day to day activities
  • Assist in preparation of Team's annual budget
  • Perform annual financial forecasting and projections
  • Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and internal control, process map internal financial activities, identify points of risk and exposure, develop mitigation plan
  • Input & processing of payroll information (banking and tax)
  • Review & approve expenses (receipt audit), including sorting and filing of expense submissions.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar role preferred
  • Advanced Level Accounting & Analytical skills
  • Solid Understanding of Accounting Concepts and GAAP
  • High level of understanding of Simply Accounting (or similar) software
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problemsolving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Prioritizing / Time Management / Proven ability to work within deadlines
  • Eye for detail & quality results driven
  • Values / Ethics / Integrity
  • Fluency in written and oral English

  • Ability to produce work according to guidelines, principles and expectations.
  • Must have strong verbal and visual communications skills.
  • Strong organizational & analytical skills (able to review results / situations, and determine action plans)
  • Passion for creating top quality work in an innovative atmosphere.
  • Experience working in a team environment, and can work well independently.
  • Familiar with the use of
  • MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook 36
  • Methodical on followup, detail focused, and very organized
  • Adaptable and flexible able to take on additional work requirements, in addition to core responsibilities.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects

Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration
  • Finance and accounting certifications are an asset
