Based in Ontario, the Senior Inspector, RCSE will report to the Contract Administrator and will have a wide range of duties focused on completing field and technical inspections. This is a new position with a salary range of $60,000 – $85,000 annually.

What You'll Do

• Complete field inspections, including independently performing a broad range of technical inspections in accordance with established standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections of methods and materials used by contractors, ensuring conformity.
• Assess and analyze compliance with contract documents.
• Ensure environmental protection measures are installed and functioning.
• Complete materials testing, including compaction testing, bag and tag materials, and conduct field surveys to verify dimensions and grade.
• Accurately record inspection activities in a Field Diary, provide continuous evaluation of construction progress, and provide reports to the Contract Administrator.
• Oversee Junior Inspectors and Checkers.

What You Should Bring

• Minimum of 3 previous MTO or Municipal projects inspecting Structures, Grade, and/or Asphalt (5 of each would be an asset), for a field role; or
• Senior Office person experience on at least 1 MTO or Municipal roadway project, for an Office Person role in a project field office; and
• High motivation with a results‑oriented focus.
• Superior organizational and multi‑tasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid Class G driver's licence and use of a personal vehicle.
