I am looking for a serious, patient and responsible individual who is seeking assistance in providing care and companionship to my two (2) children in our home.

Full-time, two (2) year position.

Responsibilities:

Provide care and companionship to two (2) children aged 16 and 19 respectively

Provide personal care

Plan and prepare meals to ensure a healthy diet for the children

Monitor children's health status while observing physical and mental states and abilities, particularly in stressful situations

Provide support to children during appointments and visits outside the home

Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment

Perform routine household chores to support children in their daily lives

Keep company and facilitate activities to provide appropriate mental and physical stimulation for children

Intervene in emergencies, as needed, with children in stressful or special situations

Work Schedule:

35 hours of work per week either Monday through Friday.

Workplace:

At the home of the persons requiring care: 21 Grove Park, Montreal, Quebec, H3Y 3E6, Canada

Conditions:

24,96$ per hour
Night work and all overtime will be paid according to the laws and regulations applicable in the province of Quebec
Housing and meals provided at no cost:
The room has a lock and a security bolt that locks from the inside;

Benefits:

Ten (10) paid vacation days; and
Two (2) days paid sick leave.

Requirements:

Postsecondary degree in pediatrics, nursing or other health care related field.
At least five (5) years of work experience as a nurse, health care aide or homemaker
At least five (5) years of professional experience working with and caring for vulnerable patients, particularly those with mental health issues or psychological distress
Patience
Ability to work with children and young adults
Ability to communicate in English
