- Translate high level vertical and product strategy into a set of detailed business and functional requirements
- Write requirements for planned Data Science and IS work
- Lead "grooming" sessions and attend standups during the development cycle
- Interface with Data Partners, Data Science Lab, and IS to identify and provide solutions to identified issues
- Prepare release plans
- Participate in cross-functional workgroups to develop, plan and review product plans
- Support the strategic planning process
- Ensure the products performs in line with expectations, as per Service Level Agreements (SLA), Revenue Targets, Teranet Scorecard, and Annual Business Plans
- Recommend ways to improve the customer experience, as measured by the annual Customer Experience Index (CEI)
- Address product-related issues that arise from customer complaints and recommendations
- Interface with Data Science Lab and IS to identify and provide new solutions to identified issues
- Provide timely and effective responses to product operational issues
- Work with clients to troubleshoot and provide solutions
- Provide product expertise and support to the Sales partners on client visits
- Attend conferences and seminars to stay current with market changes
- Collect market intelligence and customer feedback
- Determine product priorities based on market intelligence and customer feedback
- Rollout new product releases and product/solution upgrades
- Coordinate customer notifications of new product releases or outages
- Ensure the voice of the customer is considered in any new product update and/or release
- You have four-plus years of overall experience in product management, familiarity with Pragmatic and Agile work patterns is beneficial
- You have demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new product initiatives and APIs
- You have demonstrated the ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical/functional requirements
- You are familiar with the Agile Scrum development process, Pragmatic Product Management framework and other software development methodologies
- You have familiarity with Financial Service-related products & technology
- You have familiarity with Real Property-related products & technology
- Experience and knowledge of lender or mortgage broker business and tools are a strong preference
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills

About the role
Reporting to a Director, Product Management, the Product Manager plays an integral role in the execution of Teranet's product roadmap and strategy.
The Product Manager analyzes the market and competitive conditions,
subsequently laying out a product vision that is differentiated from other products in the market. The Product Manager is tasked with the delivery of unique value-based products based on client needs, and translating our product vision into actionable objectives.
