Description

The Grocery People (TGP) are hiring an
Accounting Clerk on a permanent basis at our Region Office in
Edmonton, AB .

This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Do you have a wealth of administrative support experience and willingness to learn and grow? TGP Edmonton wants to hear from you

What you'll do:

Complete bank deposits for TGP Corporate Stores and various other accounts.
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for Corporate Stores and Retail Accounts.
Process expenses for payment and complete daily/weekly/monthly billing for various TGP customers.
GL reconciliation, miscellaneous journal entries and duties.
Other duties as required.

Who you'll work with:

The Team:
You will work alongside two other Accounting Clerks and report into the Financial Accounting Manager. This collaborative team strives to cultivate a supportive and connected culture.

The Collaborators:

You will work closely with other functions within the TGP business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as Corporate Accounting and Finance.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in administration and:

Have a High School Diploma.
A minimum of oneyear administrative experience.
