Siemens Transportation Group Inc. expanded its service offerings in 1989 through the development of their flat deck division, Edge Transportation Services Ltd. Today, Edge Transportation specializes in flat deck, drayage, heavy haul & over-dimensional freight service throughout North America.

Edge Transportation Services Ltd., a member of Siemens Transportation Group Inc., requires a Dispatcher at their Saskatoon, SK location.

This position is Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm


Responsibilities:


  • Provide customer service on existing accounts
  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of freight
  • Track and trace loads as requested by customers
  • Provide all necessary paperwork, miles and routing information to drivers and Independent Contractors
  • Ensure load sheets are completed properly before handing in billing
  • Dispatch all trucks involved in both P&D and domestic operations
  • Timely communication with Company Drivers and Independent Contractors

Qualifications:


  • 2 years experience in the flat deck transportation industry is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere
