Position Overview:


  • Lead on the initiation and management of our data warehousing approach and platform, supporting the Director Information Office
  • Engage widely across the business to determine use case and system requirements, both now and into the future
  • Data Collection: Gather and collect data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, files, and data streams. Ensuring that data is collected in a consistent and structured manner.
  • All data stored in a data warehouse historically, you'll lead on the structure, management, and population of the warehouse.
  • Data Quality Assurance: The data must be of the highest quality and as usable as possible.
  • Data Integration: The data must be usable by other identified systems and departments.
  • Data Documentation: Document the data collection, cleaning, transformation, and integration processes. Creation of data dictionaries, metadata, and other documentation to facilitate understanding and usage of the data by other stakeholders.
  • Data Security and Privacy: Responsible for ensuring data security and privacy measures are in place. Handling sensitive information with confidentiality, you'll follow data protection regulations, and implement appropriate security controls.
  • Support the wider Information Office in other duties as required.
  • Act as a champion for data management and BI across the business, maintaining your professional development and sharing views and experience.

Skill Requirements:


  • A good understand of SQL queries
  • A good understand of rest and graph queries
  • R/ Phyton programming language
  • The export, transform and load process
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience or degree/diploma in BI

Nice to have:

  • Certification: certified information systems security professional
