Position Overview:

Lead on the initiation and management of our data warehousing approach and platform, supporting the Director Information Office
Engage widely across the business to determine use case and system requirements, both now and into the future
Data Collection: Gather and collect data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, files, and data streams. Ensuring that data is collected in a consistent and structured manner.
All data stored in a data warehouse historically, you'll lead on the structure, management, and population of the warehouse.
Data Quality Assurance: The data must be of the highest quality and as usable as possible.
Data Integration: The data must be usable by other identified systems and departments.
Data Documentation: Document the data collection, cleaning, transformation, and integration processes. Creation of data dictionaries, metadata, and other documentation to facilitate understanding and usage of the data by other stakeholders.
Data Security and Privacy: Responsible for ensuring data security and privacy measures are in place. Handling sensitive information with confidentiality, you'll follow data protection regulations, and implement appropriate security controls.
Support the wider Information Office in other duties as required.
Act as a champion for data management and BI across the business, maintaining your professional development and sharing views and experience.

Skill Requirements:

A good understand of SQL queries
A good understand of rest and graph queries
R/ Phyton programming language
The export, transform and load process
Minimum of 3 years of experience or degree/diploma in BI

Nice to have:

Certification: certified information systems security professional
