Ecolab Canada's largest division, Institutional, has an opening for a
Marketing Specialist, 6-month contract who
will support marketing initiatives within market segments linked with Foodservice, Hospitality and Long-term care facilities customers, supporting product lines/programs or segments.

The position will prepare and coordinate trade show facilitation, key product introductions, and promotional activities to support sales growth objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Be the key contact to support and manage trade show facilitation in Toronto (about 34 shows)
Build effective relationships with US head office counterparts and crossfunctional team members
Run day to day marketing operations: pricing, product setup
Assist with sales collateral (edit, contribute, disseminate)
Respond to field relating to marketing strategies, and gather voice of business
Demonstrate digital strategy expertise and extensive financial acument using systems, processes and technologies to execute sales activation activities
Research and track competitive activities within the Canadian marketplace
Additional marketing duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required Education confirmation will be reviewed

New university grads welcome:

1 to 3 years of professional B2B marketing experience would be an asset
Field sales experience would be considered an asset
Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Excellent presentation, written and oral communications skills
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple, complex projects

Applicants based in the Greater Toronto Area

Office:
Hybrid (3 days from home, 2 days in the Mississauga office)
