Valard Construction LP is currently seeking qualified
Powerline Technician to join our
Toronto Hydro Grid Response Team. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, and team players willing to work shift work plus overtime. You will be eligible to receive a shift premium for work on the Grid Response Team. Have a full understanding of the underground and overhead distribution systems. The ability to work collaboratively with a partner to effectively troubleshoot problems within the distribution system.

Requirements:

Requirements:

Red Seal Distribution Lineman (Must have Red Seal Certificate or equivalent)
Minimum 5 10 years distribution experience
Class 4 Rubber Glove experience
Class DZ mandatory (preference to AZ)
Working at Heights Cert up to date

Valard Construction is a CUSW Union employer: CUSW member would be an asset / must be willing to join CUSW union
Positive Attitude and good work ethic
Living in Toronto Area
Previous Toronto Hydro experience
Current UWPC Standard First Aid (CPR/AED)
