Position:

Part time instructor for _
CGSB Materials & Processes for NDT Technology_

Duration:

contact, part-time

Payment:

$30~ 60 (negotiable) per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides direction, guidance and mentorship for the continuous development of the Level I and Trainee Technicians in compliance with industry codes, standards and procedures
Provides classroom training for workshop participants
Provides applicable orientation and training to Level I and Trainee Technicians.
Strong commitment to quality inspection and reporting.
Adhering to organizational policies and procedures, including but not limited to A.I NDT Labs Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreements.

Position requirements:

Satisfy the requirements of the RTO's assessment and training procedure for instructors.
Have demonstrated knowledge of materials science and product technology.
Hold a current CAN/CGSB Level 2 or Level 3 certification in the method being taught when responsible for instruction of Level 1 or Level 2 courses.
Hold a current CAN/CGSB Level 3 certification in the method being taught when responsible for instruction of Level 3 courses.
Have a minimum of 36 months of documented experience in NDT.

Preferred qualification
3-5 years' experience in NDT inspection.

Education and Work Experience:

High School Diploma or Canadian General Equivalency Diploma, (GED).

EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification holder.

Job Types:

Salary:
$30.00-$60.00 per hour
