Under the direction of the Supervisor of Client Services, the Administrative Support Clerk is responsible for receiving, tracking, and verifying information against scheduled appointments in our client scheduling system and monitoring Automatic Provider Reports (APRs) and ensuring changes and actions are taken accordingly, complete other duties as assigned.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Receives Service Provider Reports, completes corresponding tracking and changes in client software, and verifies and reviews APRs to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Sorts incoming APR's and delivers to appropriate managers for review.
  • Completes final updates in client software, add to contracts, based upon management reviews and recommendations.
  • Visit Verification, Shift Verification
  • Administrative functions for the Client scheduling Management system for Home and Community Care team
  • Completes daily faxing of required material to funding partner.
  • Investigates rejected and suspended visits and Support's Client Services team with correcting and making appropriate changes in client software and informing necessary parties.
  • Answers questions and helps employee's complete APR's.
  • Monitors the Gateway for ASO/APR, actions refused/rejected items report errors to manager as required.
  • Contributes to the principles of customerfocused service and continuous quality improvement
  • Functions and reports in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and Carefor policies and procedures, and participates in training as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 year college diploma in office administration or business
  • 3+years' experience in billing function
  • Advanced knowledge of Goldcare
  • Ability to work independently with highly developed analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in computers including MS Office programs, faxing software, database management and client software
  • Accurate data entry skills of 40 wpm
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and external business partners
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency of work a necessity
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team and with managers/supervisors
