    Role overview

    Cognizant seeks a Windows Cloud IaC Engineer to bolster our growing infrastructure practice. If you excel in crafting, implementing, and managing cloud-native applications on large-scale platforms, possess a collaborative spirit, self-motivation, and adeptness in handling diverse tasks, alerts, and security challenges, then this opportunity is tailor-made for you.

    What you'll do

  • Support agile innovative infrastructure solutions/Infrastructure management solutions that take advantage of cloud technology to allow cost optimization, standardization
  • Collaborate with team to build Cloud IaC (Infrastructure as Code) standards and implementation.
  • Work Closely with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and process improvements
  • Manage the OS, Load balancers, Web server related issues and configuration
  • Lead the repave or patching activity seamlessly with help of IaC automation
  • On-call support
  • · Take ownership of the deliverables and lead the entire team
  • Perform Windows administration tasks, including performance tuning and OS patching.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform and Ansible.
  • What you bring to the role

  • Strong Windows administration skills, including performance tuning and OS patching.
  • AWS or GCP Cloud experience
  • Proficiency in IIS web server support and SSL certificate management.
  • Experience in Active Directory management and DNS/NS settings.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols like DNS, LDAP, and SMTP.
  • Expertise in PowerShell and/or Python scripting for automation.
  • Proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD implementation.
  • Experience with Git for source code control management.
  • Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Ability to provide on-call support as required
  • Users and Group Management experience
  • Knowledge in observability tools such as Elastic
