Job Purpose:

  • As Finance and HR Summer Student you will be responsible for supporting the Finance and HR departments. This role will have the opportunity to support the daytoday operations of these functions and participate in various project related work. In this role, the individual will gain practical experience in Finance and HR processes and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role will provide YOU with the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR _career. These responsibilities include some of the following _
  • Support on developing/updating portions the annual plan financial model
  • Assist with a project to automate select financial reports in Power BI
  • Support updating and enhancing customer dashboard reports
  • Work with the Canadian and Shared Service finance teams to update finance policies and procedures
  • Provide support to our Haleon Canada Culture Team and Employee Resource Groups (ERG)
  • Work with the Human Resources team to update Canadian policies and procedures.
  • Support planning and rollout of culture initiatives in the office
  • Assist in logístical planning of company events (townhalls, large meetings, ERG events)
  • Other ad hoc tasks

Basic Qualifications:

  • We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:_
  • University undergraduate program, preferably with a major in Finance Business Administration. Completion of 2rd or 3rd year required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:_
  • Power BI report development knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and effective organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive.
