The Billing Manager oversees and assists in the processing of daily transactions with customers in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


  • Reviews and ensure the accuracy of invoices sent to customers through various channels.
  • Prepares weekly cash forecast.
  • Ensures changes to client accounts including adding new services and products and decommission of cancelled products is done on a timely basis.
  • Reviews the calculation of commission and royalties in accordance with various agreements.
  • Receiving, researching, and resolving a variety of internal and external inquiries concerning account status.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions.
  • Reviews deferred revenues and ensures proper accounting of contracts.
  • Complete monthend, quarterend and year end closing activities.
  • Special and ongoing projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

EXPERIENCE:4-6 years of experience with basic accounting functions and billing functions; some experience with Netsuite and/or Salesforce preferred but not required.


KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Knowledge of general accounting functions and practices
  • Knowledge of accounting software principles
  • Leadership skills
  • Computer literate with proficiency in Excel
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
  • Detail oriented, good judgment and logical decisionmaking ability with a handson approach to assigned tasks
