Azure Automation for Large SQL Database Restore via SFTP + Power BI Integration

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud & SQL Server Engineer to design and implement a fully automated, cost-optimized Azure solution for restoring large SQL Server databases and preparing them for analytics.At the end of every quarter, we receive large database backup files (~300 GB) in .BAK and/or .BACPAC format via SFTP.
The goal is to build a hands-off pipeline that automatically ingests, restores, processes, and prepares the data for Power BI reporting, with minimal manual intervention.
This is a hands-on implementation project,- SFTP Ingestion & File Detection
- Securely detect new .BAK / .BACPAC files arriving via SFTP
- Automatically transfer files to Azure Blob Storage
- Ensure reliable retry handling and secure credential management
