    Overview

    Are you a driven and experienced Residential Real Estate Legal Assistant looking to join a dynamic legal team? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to become an integral part of our thriving practice.     Your primary responsibility will be to assist with real estate transactions, prepare legal documents, and maintain communication with clients, real estate agents, and other stakeholders. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the successful execution of real estate transactions and the delivery of exceptional client service.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist lawyers in all stages of real estate transactions, including document preparation, file management, and communication with clients.
    • Review and analyze legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to real estate transactions.
    • Coordinate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to ensure a smooth transaction process.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
    • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, insights, and best practices for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal/Legal Assistant in Alberta.
    • Strong understanding of real estate law, transactions, and related documentation.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Proficiency in legal software and tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
    • Detail oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality work.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
